My Clinical Interests

If you’ve landed here, you’ve probably already been to your GP. You might have a diagnosis, a prescription, or a blood test result that’s left you with more questions than answers. What you probably haven’t been given is a clear, personalised explanation of what to actually eat for it.

That’s where I come in. I’m Anne-Marie, a clinical nutritionist working with adults across Australia via telehealth. I look at the whole picture — your blood results, your symptoms, your medications, your day-to-day life — and build a plan around what your body actually needs, not a generic protocol.

Below are the conditions I see most often. If yours isn’t listed, get in touch — there’s a good chance I can support you or refer you someone that is specialised.

Metabolic Health and Type 2 Diabetes

If your GP has mentioned blood glucose, insulin resistance, or pre-diabetes, you’re not alone — and you’re not out of options. I work with clients to address the nutritional drivers behind blood sugar dysregulation, using your own blood test results to build a plan that’s personalised to your markers, not a generic low-carb handout. This is the foundation of my Metabolic Balance® Package.

Perimenopause and Menopause Symptoms

Brain fog, disrupted sleep, weight changes, joint aches, mood swings — perimenopause affects far more than hot flushes, and it rarely shows up as one tidy problem. I work with women navigating this transition to address the nutritional side of hormonal change, alongside any medical treatment you’re already using.

Osteoporosis Prevention and Support

Bone density loss is silent until a scan or a fracture makes it real. Whether you’ve had a concerning DEXA result, started bone medication, or simply want to get ahead of it, I build a nutrition plan around calcium, vitamin D, magnesium, collagen and gut absorption — the full picture behind bone health, not just “more dairy.”

Cholesterol Management

“Watch your diet” is not a plan. If you’ve been told your cholesterol is elevated and left without a clear idea of what that actually means for your next meal, I can help translate the numbers into a personalised dietary approach — built around your blood results, not a generic “cut the fat” pamphlet.

Other Conditions I Support

Nutrition plays a role in far more than the four areas above. Here are some of the other conditions I regularly work with:

Bloating, irregular digestion, food reactions, and a gut that feels unpredictable — I assess diet, stress, and digestive function together to help identify what’s actually driving your symptoms, rather than another generic elimination diet.

I have personal lived experience with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, alongside clinical training in autoimmune nutrition. I work alongside your GP and any thyroid medication to support the nutritional side of autoimmune health.

If iron tablets haven’t moved the needle, or you’re not sure why your levels won’t budge, I look at iron intake, absorption and gut health together — not just the supplement dose.

PMOS affects insulin regulation, hormones and metabolic health all at once. I build a personalised plan that addresses the nutritional side of PMOS alongside any medical treatment you’re using.

General nutritional guidance for those preparing to conceive. This is a smaller part of my clinic — get in touch to discuss how nutrition can prepare you for pregnancy.
